New Year’s Resolutions

It was said many times that we can only grow if we are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when we try something new. Let’s move out of our comfort zone this year.

Does it make sense to make New Year’s Resolutions?

Some of you will say that it doesn’t because you read that only 8% of people actually accomplishing these goals.

Would you start a business and invest your savings without a business plan? I hope not.

Do you plan your day or a whole week? Probably.

Why we’re so afraid to plan a year? Be honest with yourself and put down on paper your dreams and goals. Words matter. Read your resolutions to your partner or best friend.

The greatest barrier to success is the fear of failure.

Your resolution might be losing weight, quitting smoking, an income goal if you’re self employed, getting promoted if your working for someone else, changing something small in your life, taking a trip or even trying for a baby.

If you’re too afraid to fail, you may end up feeling stuck in your life.

There’s no better time to review your life than now. Find a quite place, turn off your phone, take a pen and paper. What do you want? Don’t compare yourself to other people. We’re all different. Frame your list and make it visible.

I wish you a very happy New Year! Be brave and take risks.
